This is my first experience with LensCrafters and I’m so glad I gave them a try. Kim has been so patient and kind with trying to find me the right pair of glasses to make me comfortable. Definitely will continue to use the store.
Take your business elsewhere. This office is the absolute worst. I made an appointment to have my annual eye exam as well as be fitted for contacts for the first time. The appointment went smoothly and the optometrist was pleasant. After the contact fitting, I was given an incorrect prescription to use for a week because they did not have my correct prescription.
The optometrist told me the prescription would arrive within a week. I called back after a week because I had heard nothing from them. Jeremy was EXTREMELY rude on the phone and told me the contacts take roughly 2 weeks to arrive and that they would call me when the contacts arrive.
After 2 weeks and still nothing, I called back in and once again spoke to Jeremy. He informed me that I could come get the same ones I'd been wearing because my actual prescription was on backorder. I explained that this wasn't acceptable. I was being given the wrong prescription. Jeremy very rudely told me that I keep saying my contacts are the wrong prescription but that they are only off by 10°....which means they aren't the correct prescription.
I was told the manager would call me first thing this morning. Well at 3pm, I had heard nothing, so I called the office. I was informed that the manager, Chelsea, had already left for the day. This is the most unorganized, unprofessional optometrist office I have ever went to. I cannot wait to no longer be a patient there.
This is the second time I’ve tried Lens Crafters. This will be my last. First time I waited three weeks on a message…never got a text or email or phone call. Nothing in spam or junk mail. Second time, same thing happened. Had to call them to get status. Glasses processed and delivered but sit on shelf waiting for customer to call them apparently. Once not getting a response, shame on them! Twice not being notified, shame on me! Customer service is pathetic!
My wife purchased high end glasses at LensCrafters in another state. The glasses were to wide from the start and after multiple trips to that office they were still not right. During our entire vacation in Alaska she struggled, as they were her only pair. She happened to walk by LensCrafters in the Dimond Mall and went in. Jeramy immediately took the glasses to the back and within five minutes he had completely repaired the glasses. It has been weeks since she went in and they are working great. We couldn’t be happier. Lens crafters and the Opthalmology clinic associated within the same building (Dr. Craig Begin and Associates) at the Diamond Mall location has dropped the ball a multitude of times on my account. They have the WORST ability to communicate within their team and the patients in order to serve their patients/clients effectively. YOU, the patient/client, will have to be on top of it if you want anything to happen. The ophthalmologist did his job and was easy to speak with. The rest of the team is a disaster.
The Opthalmology clinic's ability to convey messages (lack of), conduct follow up with its clients, and workout mishaps within its own staff for the betterment of the company is appalling. The lack of concern when misphaps do happen is off-putting. Service is disgustingly below par. Save yourself the trouble. My experience is listed below:
The front desk was supposed to call me when my trial contacts came in but weeks go by and I am the one who has to call to see the status...she said oh yeh, they're here. Well, everyone makes mistakes so I understand, but this continues the ENTIRE TIME in the span of 3 months! I then schedule another appointment to try a different pair of trials because the first ones did not work for me. I call and inform them that instead of another follow up visit, I'd like to order a years worth since I've had this brand before. Apparently, whoever took messages while others were at lunch, did not convey this with the person who orders the contacts. This was Sept/November. I wait 2 days shy of 3 WEEKS to ask the status and NOPE, no contacts...the lady (Chelsea) said she wasn't even made aware. So we resolve this by me ordering contacts with this lady who said she was the person who orders contacts and they would CALL me if there was a problem. Weeks later,It is now Dec 23 and NO CALL, so I call them. No one I spoke to saw paperwork that indicates my order and I would have to wait until that person comes back to the office. I call again and the front desk answers saying my trials are in...I'm very irritated at this point because if she had even looked at the chart, they would have seen that I already had my trial appointments to try contacts in september, but no, they don't research any of this or speak to each other to sort this out. NO ONE even apologizes for any of this. I ask to speak to the one who "ordered" my contacts only to find that she doesn't order my year's worth but that it is the "lenscrafters" side that does this...all this time...almost 2 months of back and forth and waiting....no one clarifies this process. After speaking to the Opthalmology side again the 3rd time attempting to ordering the same contacts, Lenscrafters finally calls me and says they will MAIL me my contacts. This was the most burdensome way to purchase contacts, something that should have been relatively easy turned into a convuluted mess. Disorganization and lack of effective communication contributing to this mess. The impression they leave is, "It's not my problem, but here's your bill" Save yourself the trouble.
My dog decided to chew off the nose pads on my glasses one Sunday morning. I went to LensCrafters and they replaced the pads at no cost. Great service, I will use them again in the future!
So disrespectful and annoying. I am literally unable to see and my glasses are the wrong prescription and I've been turned away four times because of them saying it wasn't covered or that they couldn't see me because the office was closed when I set an appointment seriously they're disrespectful in any health care aspect ..that being said I was a client for years and told them I was using the same pair of one a day contacts for months garbage people shouldn't be in the healthcare field
Nikki and Kim at Dimond Mall LensCrafters provided my family outstanding service. They answered all questions, helped us find new glasses, and repaired our old glasses. They're two of my favorite people now! Thank you!
